Identifying social needs is important to identify and build concrete and effective solutions to social problems or challenges that surround us. Need’s identification is key to understanding the environment in which people live and observing existing deficiencies. In that regard, it is suggested to implement a participatory methodology, which actively involves the population and encourages all members of the group to participate in the identification of social needs which will ensure realism and ownership of forthcoming strategies.
